01Why it matters
The repair is rarely the hard part.
After an accident, the difficulty is usually the paperwork and the coordination. That is the part this service exists to take off you.

The paperwork arrives at the worst moment
Nobody is at their most organised straight after an accident. Knowing which documents matter, and when, removes most of the difficulty.
Coordination is where claims stall
Surveyor visits, estimates and approvals involve several parties. Claims slow down when nobody is joining them up.
You should not have to chase your own repair
Being kept informed while the car is with us is the minimum. You should not need to call to find out where things stand.
02Outcomes
What you get from it.
Guidance on documentation
What to gather, what it is for and when it is needed — explained before it becomes urgent.
Coordination where applicable
We work with the surveyor and insurer where the process allows it, so the parts that involve us move.
Repair updates without chasing
You are told where the repair stands rather than left to find out. Silence is not a status.
Repair and claim in one place
The workshop doing the repair is the one holding the paperwork, so nothing gets lost between vendors.
03Scope
What we assist with, and what stays with your insurer.
This distinction matters more here than on any other page, so it is stated plainly rather than implied.
What the service covers
- Guidance on the damage photos worth capturing, and when
- Guidance on claim intimation and what your insurer will expect
- Support with claim-related paperwork and records
- A repair estimate prepared for the claim process
- Coordination with the surveyor or insurer where applicable
- Repair progress updates while the vehicle is with us
- Final inspection and claim-related invoicing and records
What it does not cover
- Any promise that your claim will be approved
- Any indication of what will be settled or paid
- Any commitment on insurer turnaround or approval timelines
- Decisions reserved to your insurer, surveyor or policy terms
04Process
How the journey runs.
Eight stages from intimation to handover. One of them belongs entirely to your insurer, and it is marked as such.
Safety, then intimation
Make sure everyone is safe and the vehicle is out of traffic. Intimating your insurer promptly matters — we will talk you through it.
Documentation
We guide you on the photographs, details and paperwork that the process will ask for, so nothing has to be recreated later.
Inspection and survey
The vehicle is inspected and, where a surveyor is involved, we coordinate access and provide what is asked of us.
Estimate
A repair estimate is prepared covering the damage and the work required, in the form the claim process expects.
Approval
The claim decision rests with your insurer. We supply what is requested and keep you informed while it is with them.
Repair
Once the route forward is settled, the approved repair is carried out — panel work, paint and refinishing.
Documentation and records
Invoices and records are prepared in the form your claim requires, so the closing paperwork is straightforward.
Delivery
The vehicle is handed back with the completed work explained and the claim-related records in order.
05Proof
The work itself.

06Good to know
What is worth understanding before you claim.
A few things that change how a claim goes, and that are easier to act on early.
What to do first after an accident
Safety, then the scene: move out of traffic if you can, and photograph the damage and surroundings before the vehicle is moved if it is safe to do so.
Cashless and reimbursement are different routes
Which applies depends on your policy and the network involved. We will explain how each affects the paperwork so you know what to expect.
The survey shapes the outcome
What the surveyor records forms the basis of the assessment. Being prepared for that visit matters more than anything that happens afterwards.
Small claims are not always worth making
A claim can affect your no-claim bonus. For minor damage, paying privately sometimes works out better — we will lay out both so you can decide.
07Honest limits
What we can do, and what we cannot.
Assistance does not guarantee claim approval or settlement. Your insurer's terms and assessment control the outcome.
What we can do
Guide the documentation, prepare the estimate, coordinate with the surveyor or insurer where applicable, carry out the repair and keep you updated.
What we cannot do
We cannot approve your claim, influence what is settled, or commit to how long your insurer will take. Those decisions are not ours to make.
Your policy terms govern the outcome
Coverage, deductibles, depreciation and exclusions all sit in your policy. Assistance does not change what that policy says.
We will tell you when something is out of our hands
If a claim is stalled with the insurer, you will hear that plainly rather than a reassurance we are not in a position to give.
08Coverage
Options, discussed at intake.
Including the option of not claiming at all, where that serves you better.
09Questions
What owners ask before committing.
No, and be careful of anyone who says they can. Approval is your insurer's decision under your policy terms and the surveyor's assessment. What we can do is make sure the documentation, estimate and coordination on our side are handled properly.
That is determined by your insurer based on your policy — coverage, deductibles, depreciation and the assessment. We prepare an accurate repair estimate; the settlement figure is not ours to state.
The repair timeline we can estimate after assessment. The insurer's approval timeline we cannot, because it is not within our control. We will keep you updated on movement rather than guess at a date.
Check everyone is safe and move out of traffic if the vehicle allows. Photograph the damage and surroundings if it is safe to do so, then intimate your insurer promptly. Send us the photos and we will guide the next step.
Cashless settles between the insurer and a network workshop; reimbursement means you pay and claim it back. Which applies depends on your policy and the network. We will explain how each affects your paperwork.
Not always. A claim can affect your no-claim bonus, and for minor damage private payment sometimes works out better overall. We will show you both options rather than pushing you toward a claim.
Typically your policy details, registration, driving licence and the claim intimation reference, alongside the damage photos and estimate. Your insurer sets the exact list, and we will guide you through it.
