01Why it matters
Nothing starts before you agree to it.
The difference between a good workshop and a frustrating one is rarely the work. It is whether you understood what was being done and why.

Most bills are a surprise because most work is unexplained
Approving a service you cannot see the reasoning for is the normal experience. It should not be. Nothing here starts before you agree to it.
Preventive work costs less than breakdown repair
Brakes, fluids, battery and suspension give warning long before they fail. Catching them at inspection is the cheaper end of the same problem.
Multi-brand does not mean generic
Different makes fail in different ways and have different service intervals. Diagnosis is specific to the vehicle in front of us.
02Outcomes
What you get from it.
Approval before any work
You see the estimate and agree to the scope before a spanner is picked up. Nothing gets added quietly.
Diagnosis you can follow
What was found, why it matters and what happens if it waits — explained in terms that let you make the call.
Completed work explained
At handover you are walked through what was done and why, against the estimate you approved.
One workshop for the whole car
Service, repair and the cosmetic side handled in the same place, so problems do not get passed between vendors.
03Scope
Included, and deliberately not included.
Scope is agreed at the estimate so there are no assumptions on either side.
What the service covers
- Complaint intake — what you have noticed, in your words
- Visual and diagnostic checks appropriate to the vehicle
- Periodic maintenance according to the service schedule
- Oil and filter items as applicable to the vehicle and interval
- Brake, suspension, tyre, battery, AC and fluid checks
- Fault diagnosis where a specific complaint exists
- Written recommendations, separated into now and later
What it does not cover
- Any work carried out before you have approved the estimate
- Parts or fluids fitted without being discussed with you first
- Bodywork, paint or accident repair — that is handled by body repair
- A guaranteed diagnosis before the vehicle has been inspected
04Process
How the work is done.
Nine stages, in order. Your approval sits in the middle of them, and nothing crosses it without you.
Booking
A slot is agreed along with the vehicle details and the complaint, so the right time and expertise are set aside.
Intake
We go through the symptoms with you at drop-off. What you have noticed is often the most useful diagnostic information available.
Inspection and diagnosis
Visual and diagnostic checks establish the actual condition of the car rather than assuming from the mileage.
Estimate
You get a written estimate with scope and cost, separated into what needs doing now and what can reasonably wait.
Your approval
Nothing proceeds until you agree. If something further is found mid-service, work stops and you are asked again.
Service or repair
The approved work is carried out, with anything unexpected raised rather than absorbed silently.
Quality check
The car is checked over against the approved scope before it is signed off.
Invoice and explanation
The invoice is walked through against the estimate, item by item, so nothing on it is a surprise.
Delivery
The car is handed back with the work explained and clear guidance on what to watch and when to return.
05Proof
The work itself.

06Method
Why diagnosis comes before parts.
Specifications for parts and fluids are confirmed with you at the estimate stage.
Diagnosis before parts
Replacing components until a symptom disappears is expensive guesswork. Diagnosis identifies the cause so the right thing gets fixed once.
Now, and later, separated
Estimates distinguish what genuinely needs attention from what can be planned for. Bundling the two is how bills get inflated.
Warning signs are worth acting on
Noise when braking, pulling under steering, slow cranking or weak AC are all early. Acting on them is nearly always the cheaper path.
Parts and fluids confirmed with you
What goes into your car is discussed and agreed before fitting, with the specification confirmed rather than assumed.
07Honest limits
What service covers, and what it does not.
Including the awkward one: some faults take time to find.
What service covers
Preventive maintenance, diagnostic investigation and mechanical repair, with clear reporting of the vehicle's condition.
What it does not cover
Accident damage, panel work and paint are handled by body repair. Insurance coordination is a separate service.
Diagnosis takes the time it takes
Intermittent faults can need extended investigation. We would rather say that than quote a fix for a problem not yet identified.
Estimates can change — with your approval
If inspection reveals something further, work pauses and you are asked. An estimate is never quietly revised upward.
08Coverage
Options, agreed at booking.
These are starting points shaped around your car and your reason for coming in.
09Questions
What owners ask before committing.
No. You see an estimate and approve the scope before anything begins. If something further is found during the service, work stops and you are asked again before it continues.
Follow your manufacturer's interval as the baseline, then adjust for how the car is actually used — city traffic, short trips and heavy loads all shorten it. We will suggest a rhythm for yours.
We work across multiple brands. Tell us the make, model and year at booking so the right diagnostic approach and expertise are set aside for it.
The estimate separates safety and reliability items from things that can reasonably be planned for. You decide what proceeds — we are explicit about which is which rather than presenting one list.
What goes into your car is discussed and confirmed with you before fitting. We name specifications at the estimate stage rather than publishing claims here.
Yes, ask at intake and replaced components will be kept for you. Seeing what came off the car is a reasonable thing to want.
Yes, item by item against the estimate you approved. If a line does not make sense, that is a problem with the explanation, not with your understanding.
